BYESVILLE — Maddox Roach positioned seventh to steer East Liverpool on Saturday on the Meadowbrook Colt Carnival Invite.
Roach, a freshman, completed in 17:55.
Kendell West of Meadowbrook gained in 17:13.
Aynsley Galeoti led the Potter ladies with a 61st place end in 25:59.
Barnesville’s Kailey Nugent gained the ladies title in 25:18.
Spartan Invitational
BOARDMAN — Salem’s ladies cross nation group held its personal with a few of the finest within the state on Saturday on the thirty seventh Spartan Invitational at Boardman Excessive Faculty.
The Quaker ladies completed third in Div. II behind Minerva and Kenston. Minerva got here in ranked No. 1 within the state in Div. II within the Ohio Cross Nation Coaches’ ballot. Salem was ranked fourth in that ballot whereas Kenston was eighth.
Maggie Hopple led the Quakers on the three.1-mile course by ending ninth in 20:14 within the race that featured 322 whole runners.
Salem’s boys completed eleventh out of 41 full groups. Will Madison led the way in which with an 18th place end in 17:25.
In Div. III ladies, Heartland freshman Rebecca Geiss continued her spectacular season by ending sixth in 19:56.
In Div. III boys motion, United senior Kaleb Nastari was twelfth in 17:32.
